Traci Bisson is the owner/founder of It Takes a Village Pet Care located in Barrington, NH. She is also the founder of NH Pet Industry Professionals where she helps guide over 175 members through the marketing and public relations of their professional pet businesses.

Prior to starting It Takes a Village Pet Care, Traci owned a marketing/PR firm for 17 years, which she closed in 2017 to pursue her pet care business. She also started an online membership site for mom entrepreneurs in 2008 at the height of the recession, grew the group to 1,000 members, and sold the company in 2013.

In 2018, she started a dog walking club based on a suggestion from an employee. Since then, it has blossomed into an engaged, active, and passionate group of dog lovers who create awareness of and raise funds for pet charities.

As a published writer, Traci has written articles on book publishing and promotion, how to get free publicity, blogging, social networking, marketing, business planning, how to write news releases, and other topics. Her articles have appeared in many publications, including national and local magazines, newspapers and websites. In addition, she has been interviewed on several expert subjects for TV, radio, print, and social media, most recently on sustainability and community for Pet Sitter’s World magazine.
